For the »Himmel über Hamburg« open-air concert, the Lenzsiedlung estate in Eimsbüttel is being turned into a concert location. 16 Alpine horns, nine trumpets, four tubas and four Chinese drums: the musicians of the Dresdner Sinfoniker will be dotted around the residential quarter, 40 meters up in the sky, and around the Tiefenstaaken sports ground, from which the audience will be enjoying the music – right at the heart of the action.
Now 1000 people in the auditorium – For Family Day new tickets are on sale. On 26–27 June 2021, the doors of the Elbphilharmonie open again for visitors of all ages. First-class musicians welcome visitors and perform child-friendly concerts in the various halls – with music ranging from classical to pop.
At the Elbphilharmonie Family Orchestra the focus is on enjoyment. People from three different generations play together here, among them many parents alongside their own children. And the orchestra is still looking for new members.
