Stiftung Elbphilharmonie

Since it was set up in 2005, the Stiftung Elbphilharmonie (Elbphilharmonie Foundation) has been using funds donated by its members to support projects that promote the vision of the Elbphilharmonie as a concert hall of international standing and a place where everyone is welcome. In addition to outstanding concert events, the foundation supports innovative projects, thematic spotlights and festivals in particular that have often been specially developed for the Elbphilharmonie. As the biggest supporter of our extensive music education programme for children, young people and families, the foundation also makes an important contribution to ensuring that the Elbphilharmonie is »a place for everyone«, making both the enjoyment of music and active music-making accessible to all people, regardless of their age, income or educational background.
