It was always Mischa Maisky’s greatest dream to appear on stage together with his children. In the meantime, the cellist performs in a duo with his daughter Lily in the world’s top concert halls and has recorded several internationally successful CDs in addition to giving unforgettable cello and piano recitals. Deutsche Grammophon just recently released a special recording with Lily and Mischa Maisky focusing on 20th century compositions, and the programme of the CD will form the basis of their recital at the Elbphilharmonie.
