Creating beats like in Berghain

She is a resident DJ at the legendary Berlin club Berghain and loves tinkering with analog synthesizers, which can be combined with many cables from individual modules to create complex sound machines. You can experience her sound magic between techno and ambient in the ePhil series on April 5. And the day after the concert, she will be hosting a synth workshop.

In the workshop for FLINTA*, she will show and explain how analog synthesizers work and how the endless sound possibilities can be unleashed with the buttons, knobs and cables. Sibel Koçer, aka JakoJako, worked for a long time in SchneidersLaden - Berlin’s best-stocked specialist store for modular synthesizers - where she acquired all the specialist knowledge that she is now passing on. Twelve analog, modular synthesizers are available for experimenting, improvising and composing.
