The Elbphilharmonie also has something to offer its youngest visitors: hand-picked family and children's concerts that are carefully tailored to suit each age group. These »Twinkle Concerts«, graded along the lines of clothing sizes, present imaginative music-theatre productions from all over Europe in cosy surroundings; most of them manage without words, telling their exciting, funny or thought-provoking stories through music alone. When the lights go down and the first notes ring out in the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall, extraordinary musical worlds that stimulate the imagination open up for children aged 6+. From the four percussionists who argue over who’s the boss in »Click’n Drums« to the production »treznoK – rückwärts ins Konzert«, which playfully questions concert rituals and turns them on their head.
