The »Chor zur Welt« brings people and songs together from all regions of the world. The amateur singers sing in different languages and are all curious to discover the music of other cultures. Under the direction of Jörg Mall, the »Around the World« programme is made up of songs from the singers’ respective countries of origin. In the 2024/25 season they also explore the rich musical culture of Brazil, in a concert called »Alegria«.

Participation is free of charge.
Participation is open to residents from Hamburg and surrounding areas aged 16 and above.
