In the Elbphilharmonie’s Chor zur Welt, people from more than 15 countries sing together – sometimes in Arabic, Congolese or German. They all share a curiosity about the music of other cultures and enjoy the fun of experimenting with their own voices. For the project in the 2023/24 season, the choir is working with the singer, songwriter and producer Ramadu from Zimbabwe. »Ubuntu« – humanity is the motto of the musical programme in which the singers and Ramadu explore the vocal music of southern Africa together.

Rehearsal day & time: Mondays, 17:00–19:00
Rehearsal venue: Elbphilharmonie Kaistudio
Kick-off with Ramadu: 13. January 2024
First rehearsal: 19 February 2024

Participation is free of charge.
Participation is open to residents from Hamburg and surrounding areas aged 16 and above.
