Künstlerische Planung

Introducing: Artistic Planning

Planning, organising and overseeing concerts – the Artistic Planning team is the heart of the concert hall.

If you accompany our colleagues from the Artistic Planning team for just a few hours, you’ll see that every day is an adventure for them. Because they are the ones responsible for ensuring that first-class concerts are held in the halls of the Elbphilharmonie every night – and they take care of everything from the initial concept to the final applause. They discuss the programme, prepare rehearsal plans, book hotels, hire instruments and organise technical support. Their offices on the 10th floor are the engine driving the concert hall. They are a central hub in the huge operation that is the Elbphilharmonie – there isn’t a department between Front of House, Technical and Editorial with which they’re not in contact. And on the day of the concert itself, you’ll see them around the venue with their radios and mobile phones – always reachable and always with a solution for any problem.

The video series »Team Elbphilharmonie« presents the concert hall’s different departments and the people who work there.

Even more faces ...
