Elbphilharmonie Kopfhörer #24 – How does a concert work?

The podcast for young people. This time: what exactly is a concert? (German only).

Concerts are held at the Elbphilharmonie. They are events with music, in the broadest sense. Are there any rituals or rules for concerts? How do people behave in a concert? And how would you go about turning the whole thing on its head a bit? Nine-year-old Ada and Jonna discuss all this with Sareom Park, cellist with Ensemble Resonanz. On 25 June 2023, the musicians in the string orchestra perform their programme »treznoK – Rückwärts Ins Konzert« (»treznoK – Reversing into Concert«) at the Elbphilharmonie – a stage concert for young people featuring movement and music.

There’s also a quiz created by classmates at Arnkielstrasse Primary School where you can test just how much you know about concerts and the Elbphilharmonie. We hope you have fun!
