Holiday Programme: Kreativ BeatObsession

In the five-day vacation project »BeatObsession«, participants get to create their own musical instruments from collected objects and materials, which are then played alongside other percussion instruments and samples. They develop their own rhythms and songs, guided by professional musicians. The workshops are held in various facilities around the city, as well as at the Elbphilharmonie. At a grand finale, all works created are then performed, with all participants present, at the Elbphilharmonie.

Venues: Elbphilharmonie Kaistudio as well as in the Kinderkulturhaus Lohbrügge, Kulturinitiative Jenfeld, Kulturhaus Süderelbe and SME Jugendhilfezentrum community centres

Adults may not participate in this workshop.
